Return Policy
Return Policy – TanahMae

1. My Return Promise
I hope you love your handmade TanahMae ceramics.
However, if you’re not completely satisfied, you can return your order within 14 days of receiving it — no questions asked.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging if possible.
- You must notify me within 14 days of receiving the order that you wish to return it.
- After notifying me, you have another 14 days to send the item back.
Please note:
Custom-made or personalized items cannot be returned.
3. How to Return an Item
- Email me at info@tanahmae.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
- We will send you the return instructions and address.
- Pack the items securely and include your name and order number inside the parcel.
- Ship the return to me using a trackable shipping method.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility. I recommend using insured shipping, as we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels.
4. Refunds
Once I receive and inspect your return, I will notify you.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days, using the same payment method you used for your purchase.
Shipping costs from your original order are not refundable.
5. Damaged or Faulty Items
If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
I’ll gladly replace the item or offer a full refund — whichever you prefer.
6. Exchanges
Because my ceramics are handmade and unique, I cannot guarantee identical replacements.
If you’d like to exchange an item, please contact me — I’ll help you find a suitable alternative.

2. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the TanahMae online store (www.tanahmae.com) and to all agreements between TanahMae and the consumer.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Products
All ceramics offered by TanahMae are handmade. Small variations in shape, color, or finish are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not considered defects.
I do my best to display each item as accurately as possible, but colors may vary slightly due to screen settings or lighting.
4. Prices and Payments
All prices are listed in euros (€), including VAT and excluding shipping costs.
Shipping costs are displayed during checkout.
Payment can be made securely via iDEAL or credit card.
Orders are processed and shipped only after full payment has been received.
5. Delivery
TanahMae ships orders within the Netherlands and internationally.
I aim to dispatch your order within 3–5 business days after payment.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
TanahMae is not liable for delays caused by postal or courier services.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving it, without giving any reason.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the item.
Return shipping costs are at your own expense.
Please use the original packaging whenever possible.
After receiving your return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.
Exceptions: Custom-made or personalized items cannot be returned.
7. Warranty and Complaints
Each product is crafted and checked with care.
If you receive a damaged item or something that does not meet your expectations, please contact me within 7 days via info@tanahmae.com.
I will work together to find a suitable solution.
The legal warranty applies in all cases.
8. Liability
TanahMae is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as loss of income or damage resulting from misuse of a product.
In any case, my liability is limited to the total amount of the order concerned.
9. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (such as natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or pandemics), TanahMae is not obliged to fulfill the agreement for as long as the situation of force majeure continues.
10. Personal Data
TanahMae handles your personal data with care and in accordance with privacy legislation.

11. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
